But when the Noxian invasion of Ionia shattered the continent's peace, Zed made a fateful choice: he opened a sealed temple and embraced a forbidden form of shadow magic, believing that Ionia's survival required more than meditation and restraint. The shadow power consumed his restraint and, ultimately, his master. He broke from the Kinkou, founded the Order of Shadows, and became the thing his former brothers feared — a killer who moves through darkness itself.
His English voice performance in League of Legends is handled by Donny Lucas, whose dark, commanding delivery captures Zed's transformation from disciplined student to ruthless shadow-master.
